plastique* is a line of eye-catching, laser cut acrylic jewelry with a very modern and minimalistic feel to it. Started in 2008 by graphic designer, Jen Murse, plastique* is a collection that is inspired by her true passions in life. With designs that include retro music devices, world famous skylines, graphic design expressions, geometric shapes and more, there is a piece that suits anyone and adds a whimsical highlight to any outfit. The entire line is made from laser cut acrylic and is a true blend of Jen’s love for digital and tangible design.
plastique* has been featured in various print publications and websites including Elle Belgium, HOW Magazine, TIMEOUT NY, Pitchfork, Thrillist, NOTCOT, Refinery29, Better Living Through Design and more.
Most recently plastique* designed custom necklaces and rings for GAGA’S WORKSHOP at Barneys NY. These pieces were sold exclusively at the madison avenue flagship store in NY alongside other limited edition pieces. The workshop is a spin on Santa’s Workshop with the creative direction of Lady Gaga and Nicola Formichetti.
